Somebody with Telecom Industry Experience, and a good book of accounts will be preferable.
The successful candidate will be a hard-working, hands-on, smart, energetic, creative, outgoing, enthusiastic and well-versed in all things related to the Internet, Social Media and the current digital world we live in. He or she should not be afraid to ‘hit the pavement’ and meet directly with many different clients and potential clients. The Business Development Manager must coordinate with the editorial, distribution and circulation teams. He or she should feel comfortable online and in social media, with strong digital literacy a requirement. Should have experience in sales & marketing, though we will consider all candidates – if they’re made of the ‘right stuff’ (grit, enthusiasm, keen intelligence, ambition, confidence). Successful candidate must be able to travel.
